The PreKindergarten program is designed to partner with families to prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond at CCA. Aligning with the mission and vision of focusing on the whole child delivers a developmentally appropriate environment. This provides beginning foundations of literacy and math fundamentals, social and emotional health, self-discipline, physical and cognitive developmental growth, and intentionality with every interaction. The core of all these foundations and learning experiences is taught through the lens that our Creator sees each child as His masterpiece.

Kindergarten is the foundation of Colorado Christian Academy because it is a year that sets the trajectory of learning and growth for the years to come. Your kindergartener will graduate knowing all 76 phonograms, the beginning foundations of grammar, and the critical basic math skills. They will be exposed to timeless stories, history, art, science and Spanish.

This is our traditional schedule that includes Core Subjects, Co-Curriculars, Flexible Fridays, and Chapel.

Designed for students who have a full schedule due to sports, theatre, dance, etc. and would benefit from focusing on the essential core subjects (math, reading, communication, and Bible) while freeing up their afternoon to practice on areas of gifting or passion.

Designed for homeschool families who have a set curriculum for math, reading, communication and Bible but are looking to round out their students education with increased co-curricular classes that are harder to facilitate at home. In addition this provides a great opportunity for homeschool students to socialize and have a change of environment which will increase their overall wellbeing and productivity.

Students who are enrolled as a part time student can also add on our Flexible Friday option. Fridays are a day where students dive deep in their learning by participating in excursions around town, activities on campus, or projects. All projects and activities are connected to the overall scope and sequence and are tailored to the students strengths, interests, and passions. Fridays are also a good opportunity for students to spend a little extra time on their personal learning goals related to their core subjects or co-curriculars.
