CHRIST-CENTERED

The ultimate outcome at Colorado Christian Academy is that students would come to know Jesus during their academic and personal development. We believe that a living knowledge of God's nature creates a clear understanding and love for oneself and others. We want students to truly know the voice of God.

In John 10:27-28, Jesus speaking of His followers (apprentices) says that they “know my voice, and I know them. They follow me, and I give them eternal life so that they will never be lost. No one can snatch them out of my hand.”

It is through knowing and following Jesus that students develop true resilience because they understand that their security rests in the loving hands of the creator of the universe.

CLASSICALLY ROOTED

Even in our modern, fast-paced, technological age, we believe that there is immense value in fundamental knowledge and the development of essential skills. Students should not hand their minds over to technological advances and modern shortcuts that skip over critical skills and cognitive development.

It is our aim that every student have a comprehensive understanding of the Bible, history, literature, and culture, and high proficiency in essential skills like math, reading, and communication.

INNOVATIVELY FOCUSED

We believe that there are ideas to realize and solutions to implement that can bring a better quality of life to our broken world.  Students learn that their ideas and actions can have a positive impact on those around them. This school-wide focus on innovating teaches students how to understand problems, ideate, strategically plan, design, try, fail, refine, and succeed. It is a process that continually challenges them to grow. This deeper learning provides valuable connections between the curriculum, themselves, and the world.

As followers of Jesus, we should be the brightest in society because learning is a primary avenue by which we grow in our relationship with God. It is our responsibility to use the mind He gave us to the very best of our ability as an act of worship to our Creator.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

It is staggering to look at the issues that are affecting the health and wellness of today’s youth. Admittedly, it is challenging to raise students in our fast-paced, sexualized, distracted, unmotivated culture. At Colorado Christian Academy, we build strong foundations in students that create healthy habits for a lifetime. We know that a student's mental, spiritual, and emotional capacity increases when their body is rested, well-fed, and exercised.

Colorado Christian Academy has made brave decisions around schedule, diet, exercise, uniforms, and homework that promote a well-balanced life that increases the overall holistic health of our students.

IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT

Each one of us represents 1 out of 7 billion people currently living in the universe. This reality, in the absence of God, can make life feel insignificant. The world fights this feeling through comparing performance, the accumulation of stuff, or the thirst for popularity.

At Colorado Christian Academy, we believe that a healthy identity is found in the Lord, understanding that each student is infinitely significant beyond comprehension because God created, fashioned, redeemed, and adopted them. In Him, students can combat the false notions of self and the futility of selfish gain.

We train students to give their gifts and strengths back to God as an act of gratefulness and worship. We also prepare students to face challenges and short comings by inviting Jesus to walk alongside them to provide the strength and hope to endure and succeed.
